And bethany will be left behind to help the avatars go back to jumanji or something like that. Npcs like nigel could've entered the real world also to give the avatars their task on how to return to jumanji. It felt like they could've done a lot more things that would've made the movie a little more interesting than just the same game but with different level and additional characters. Maybe they will do a lot more on the next one.
